This special collaborative workshop is led by two experienced and passionate florists — Ashley from Ash Tree Floral Designs and Louise from Vanilla Ruffles Floral Design . Together, we’ll guide you through the core floristry techniques used in weddings, all with a focus on seasonal blooms and sustainable, foam-free mechanics . Make three unique stacking rings in this all day class. A perfect class for both beginners and more experienced makers, this one day session will teach you how to use traditional jewellers’ tools where you will learn how to measure, cut, solder, and texture a set of three stacking rings. All tools and equipment are provided, and the silver is included in the cost of the class, where you will end the day with beautiful personalised set of stacking rings! This class is perfect for the uninitiated looking to take their first steps in jewellery making, or for a small group of family, friends, or colleagues looking to learn something new or enjoy some creative fun. We would respectfully ask that if you do park on the industrial estate, you do not block anyone in, as other business will be trading on a saturday afternoon. The venue is a 10-15 minute walk from Bournville train station and a one-minute walk from the Pershore Road which is serviced by a number of bus routes. Please do check Saturday timetables. Please take care outside the entrance to the club as this is a road. Stairs/Accessibility The event will all take place on the ground floor of the venue, which has step-free access from the canalside. There is a fully accessible toilet also on ground-level. Please leave buggies behind if possible - they will not be allowed on the dance floor area as they are a trip hazard. If you do need to bring a buggy, BFLF stewards or venue staff will show you where you can leave it during the event, but please note this may require it to be carried upstairs. SAFETY: Adults remain responsible for their children at all times. This is a family event. Adult only groups are not allowed. The event will be busy. The dancefloor is for adults and children to dance together. Please be aware that events are standing/dancing with limited seating available. Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance. The entrance/exit will be manned at all times by BFLF staff. No children will be allowed to leave the event without their adult. We cannot guarantee that sweets/snacks sold on the premises are allergen-free. Battery operated accessories eg light up batons are not permitted at events due to risks associated with circular batteries. Please do not bring these along. Large Groups If attending as a large party please ensure one adult to two children minimum. We will refuse entry to groups where there is inadequate supervision. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group, or you are planning to bring a large group of children (eg a birthday party) please email kateh@bigfishlittlefishevents.com for pre-approval before buying tickets Each member of your group must have a ticket. Pre-walking infants are free (but ticketed). Sound Level The music level is set and monitored throughout to abide by WHO guidelines. Most parents do not use ear defenders on their children but if yours are particularly sensitive to noise or if you want them to nap then you might want to consider it.
