Chalk pastels are fabulous mark making objects. We'll have a variety of makes for you to try out and we'll show you various ways of using them to create atmosphere and peace and sometimes a bit of drama!... yes you can do it all! We will look at other artists work such as Degas and Renoir as well so you can take some inspiration from them. We'll have a go at doing some flower drawing so if you have some fabulous flowers in your garden maybe bring a couple in a jam jar! and bring some photos to inspire a landscape as well. Hot drinks and cake included (of course!) I can't wait to show you what you can do with these wonderful materials (and yes theyre are very mucky so bring wet wipes, an apron and be ready to be a bit grubby!) If you have your own and want to learn to use them please bring them along too! We will spray to fix the pictures but outsdie only as the spray is lousy for my chest!
