Join STL Youth Hockey Fights Cancer for the Fouth Annual 4v4 High School Summer Showdown benefiting local youth hockey players and their families affected by cancer. This is an individual sign up for players registered as Freshman-Seniors for the 25-26 school year. We will also accept recent graduates from the 24-25 school year. Players will be assigned to a team. There is a 4 game guarantee for this tournament. These tickets are for Player Registration only. Those wanting to attend, support, and donate may do so without pre-registering! The cost of the tournament is $100 per player and $50 for goalies. This includes games, jersey, and donation towards our Guest of Honor. Each player will be able to list 3 teammates they would like to be paired with and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Tounament teams and schedules will be sent once registration closes in June. Games will be played throughtout the weekend. Create your own custom rain barrel to help keep your yard and garden green all summer long. Conservation starts in your own backyard! This workshop will provide you with all the knowledge, tools, and equipment needed to DIY your own barrel (food grade 55-gallon barrel, hose bib, overflow spout, and screen to keep out mosquitoes). There will be a short demonstration and information portion, followed by the actual rain barrel creation. You can attend this event on your own, but we encourage you to bring a helper! Each Wednesday during Holiday Time Sparky will open the doors for our Film and Animation Holiday Fun Club for Children with Autism, ADHD and SEN. The session will include Stop-motion animation, Editing, Film and Performance, art, crafts, gaming and much much more in a mixed bag for those young ones who would like to express themselves creatively. The session is based at our Studio in Chesterfield and is for a maximum of 8 children between the ages of 9 and 16 years. 2hr or 4hr sessions available. 10:00am to 12pm OR 10:00am to 2:00pm (bring a packed lunch for the 4hr session) The cost is £32/£64pp. If you are interested and not already known to the studio please contact the Studio via email ginger@sparkyink.co.uk. as you my need a pre-visit. all attendees will have to complete a Pre-registration form. Tickets are not valid unless confirmed with the Studio. Due to Covid the Studio has the right to cancel the session at short notice. Each session Children have the chance to work as group or on a solo project using industry standard stop motion animation software, editing and special FX software. We use DSLR camera’s and i-pads and lots of other gadgets and gizmo’s which make Animation fun. Children can create their own little stop-motion animation to view on Youtube or be part of a shared filming project. We also dabble into other Media too such as Art and prop making, Green screening, filming and editing. Please note the sessions are on the second floor so there are stairs.
