Ready to survive? Zombie Scavengers plunges participants into a high-stakes, app-powered scavenger hunt, transforming familiar North Vancouver city streets into a virtual, thrilling, post-apocalyptic battleground. Teams embark on a mission to survive by using their smartphone to navigate the city that is virtually turned into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Teams must complete tricky challenges, solve riddles, and gather (take photos of) essential supplies to stave off the virtual undead horde roaming the city. Each mission the teams complete will earn them points on the app’s leaderboard where they can see how they have done compared to other surivival teams. Players must communicate and strategize as they work together to find essential items around the city that they need to survive. Zombie Scavengers is a dynamic and engaging activity that tests problem-solving skills, teamwork, and a healthy dose of survival instinct, making it a unique and memorable adventure through the streets of North Vancouver. RIDE DESCRIPTION Join us for the Triple Crown Throwdown , where we'll conquer all three North Shore mountains in one glorious, quad-burning day. Expect long road climbs, stunning views, fast descents, and plenty of team spirit. We’ll wrap things up at a The Shed Coffee Bar Pizza on the descent to share stories and toast the day (drinks + eats sponsored by Liv Cycling Canada!) ROUTE ~110km | ~2,400m elevation | 100% road We’ll hit Seymour , Grouse (via Mountain Highway) , and Cypress , with some city spins and seawall stretches between the big efforts. Final route GPX will be sent closer to the date based on weather, road conditions, and legs of the ride leaders. PACE + PREP We’ll be aiming for a steady pace on the climbs, with regroups at the summits and base of each mountain. The rides between the mountains won't be a sufferfest, but we also don't have time to dawdle! This ride is best suited for folks who’ve comfortably completed long days in the saddle, and have completed at least Seymour or Cypress. If you’re unsure, shoot us a message and we’ll chat! Liv Cycling Canada will be along for the ride, joining us at some of the summits with refreshments (please do not rely on these for fuel!) Drop bars and clipless pedals mandatory! What to bring: Plenty of snacks and fuel for an ~8hr ride (packable carbs and electrolytes) Two full bottles (there are spots to refill water along the way) A jacket and maybe gloves for the descents Tools + flat kit to be self-sufficient A bike computer or phone mount to follow the route OTHER NOTES We may reschedule if the forecast looks gnarly - final call will be made a few days prior. If you RSVP but can’t make it, let us know early so we can offer your spot to someone else. All riders will need to sign a waiver - link to come closer to the date. Let’s get it - three peaks, one day, big energy. Information Source: Ruckus Racing | eventbrite

Sound Bath Meditation is an immersive meditative experience where participants are bathed in sound waves from various instruments and sound healing tools. The vibrations facilitate shifts in brain states from a more active state to a relaxed or even dreamlike state through a process called brain entrainment. The parasympathetic nervous system is signaled, allowing the body to rest. The experience evokes a sense of deep listening, while allowing release and restoration to occur, leaving a sense of calm and invigoration. Modern science is now confirming the transformational effects of this ancient practice and it's ability to rekindle harmony to mind, body and spirit. This is in an experience to be FELT in real life. MEET YOUR GUIDE: Lyn Sakari became certified as a meditation teacher in 2017 through Moment Meditation after two decades of a personal practice; with additional studies in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), Reiki (Holy Fire lineage), Kirtan (Bhakti Yoga), sound healing and is a Sound Ceremonialist, certified as a sound bath musician. She trained formally at The Sound Bath Centre in LA (recognized by the International Sound Therapy Association). Included in her sound scape journey are Crystal Tones alchemy singing bowls which are infused with gemstones and precious metals, thoughtfully selected because of their integrity and resonance. Lyn's set is one of a kind and appropriately named 'Unity Consciousness'. She is a Guide at Kolm Kontrast as well as The Mindful Lab and is passionate about creating space where community can come together to receive the practice of Sound. Get in touch at https://sitwithsakari.com https://www.instagram.com/lynsakari/ https://heal.me/lynsakari - read all the 5 star reviews hello@sitwithsakari.com WHAT TO EXPECT: A comfortable environment with space for reflection, community connection and integration of the practice. Sound Bath Meditation with Crystal Tones alchemy singing bowls, which are infused with gemstones and precious metals, are of the highest quality and thoughtfully selected for their integrity along with accompanying complimentary instruments such as chimes, ocean drums and seed rattle. A beautiful space to experience Halotherapy (salt therapy) along with the Sound. Those that have attended Lyn's sessions have reported a reduction in pain, restorative sleep, emotional release, pleasant visions, seeing colours, a sense of connectedness, invigoration, a spiritual experience, cessation of the desire to smoke, visits from loved ones that have passed, a sense of clarity, feelings of hope, enhanced focus.
