Join Rose, of the Dreaming Heart Art Studio, at the Boathouse Cafe in Kemptville, ON (Burritts Rapids) for a creative evening of yummy eats and expressive painting! Rose will show you, step-by-step, how to create a whimsical and colourful painting of a barn owl using acrylic paint on a 12 x 16 canvas panel. Then, with gentle guidance, experiment with metallic markers and gel pens to add some magical shimmer. ............................................................ *The outline of the owl will be pre-traced, but there will be lots of opportunity to add your own creative touch! *Instruction is always BEGINNER-FRIENDLY, with a focus on having fun and enjoying the creative process! *All art materials are included, except for aprons. The Kemptville 73's Jr. A Hockey Club are proud to offer FOUR separate weeks of hockey school for the summer of 2025. Week one runs from July 7-1, week two runs July 14-18, week three runs July 21-25 and week four July 28-Aug 1 from 8AM-4PM daily. The camp will be open to children born from 2017-2011 with daily on and off ice activities led by 73's coaches, alumni ,current players, female instructors and Apex Hockey. Participants will be divided into two separate age appropriate groups for the week and receive 3 hours of ice per day with multiple instructors on ice per session. Between on ice sessions the groups will participate in off ice activities that include ball hockey ,soccer, age appropriate off ice training and interactive information sessions.
