Nature Rx Mindful Senses Series | Sight: Nature Photography | Ledges Trailhead
Cultural Experiences
Spend an evening with Christine Baker learning the Look Again mindful photography method —a simple, low-tech approach that weaves photography, mindfulness and connection with nature.
During the evening, we'll use our cell phone cameras to create photos of the colors, shapes, textures and ordinary moments that nature shares with us, but we often overlook. Exploring the world this way invites us to relax, reframe and nurture our well-being. What will we see when we slow down, look, and look again at the natural world around us?
No previous photography experience necessary! Mindful photography is not about the tech of capturing a "perfect" photo. It's about the process of looking and seeing differently, with curiosity, compassion, and gratitude. All you need is a fully charged cell phone and an open mind.
