BICESTER PRIDE returns for our 5th year with a fantastic family friendly Pride event featuring live music from Kylie Tribute "Kylie on Tour", Dua Lipa Tribute "Amanda Jones", P!nk Tribute "Vicky Jackson", and Drag Queen FANNIE COIL returning again with resident DJ - ELITE ENTERTAINMENT to host. Marketstalls, face painting, licenced bars, food vendors will all be on site as well as other surpises. BICESTER PRIDE is a community interest company supporting the LGBTQI+ community. This is a not for profit event - All proceeds will be used for continuing to expand and provide Bicester Pride's outreach and support in Bicester and the surrounding villages. Come experience one of the most exciting sports Oxford has to offer! We're adding an extra MT taster session to allow you to come see what playing polo is all about. Transport to and from Oxford Polo is included in your ticket. Taster Schedule: 30 April Bus Departure from Oxford: 15:45 (no late arrivals please!) Taster Session: 16:15 - 17:45 Arrival in Oxford: ~18:15-18:30 Please meet us at in front of the Eagle and Child pub in Oxford at 15:30, where we'll transport you to our polo club just 20 minutes away. During the taster, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to play polo, ride a horse, and practice hitting the ball. You'll be on the pitch for 1.5 hours, guided by one of our experienced coaches and our current club members, who will teach you how to swing the mallet, hit the ball on a wooden horse, and mount up on a polo pony to do some riding. All necessary polo equipment, including helmets, mallets, and horses, will be provided. No riding or polo experience is required, and we welcome all levels of riders. However, we do recommend wearing hard-heeled boots and comfortable denim/leggings/jodhpurs . How to get to us, what to bring with you, the appropriate clothing so you can shoot safely and also what provisions to bring so you can stay hydrated and on top form. On completion of the course and if you have shown you are safe to progress we will also present you with an amazing pass certificate that is recognised anywhere in the UK. Once you pass the course this now means you now have the skills to shoot in a club environment, and that you also have a full understanding of the safety aspect and line ettiquette.
