Fitness Industry Friends! We invite you to join us for the 2025 Independent Gyms Golf Day, proudly supported by Servicesport! On Thursday 26th June, we head to Herons Reach Golf Resort for a day of mixed ability, friendly golf, networking and socialising with industry friends. Included in the ticket prices are: Coffee and Bacon Roll on arrival18 Holes of GolfBBQ Buffet*1 Great Day!We'll be playing a Texas Scramble format with mixed ability four balls so regardless of how good you are, you'll be right at home. Prizes will be up for grabs including the overall winners, longest drive, nearest the pin and the wooden spoon for the team that props up everyone else. If you're not a golfer but want to join the fun, grab a social ticket and take advantage of the bacon rolls, BBQ buffet and all the networking opportunities! Lastly, for those sticking around after, in true Independent Gyms style we'll be heading to the bright lights of Blackpool to continue the networking!

This informal, friendly hand-building workshop is all about getting creative, having a good time and experimenting with clay in a gentle environment. What will I do? Handbuilding techniques allow you to use your hands to create forms with clay. You'll be able to learn or improve your hand-building techniques, like pinching, slab rolling/building and coiling. We will show you these techniques and guide you through the whole process. You'll be able to to make your own bowls, plates, vases, decorations and much more. You can also leave your clay piece with us for drying and firing in the kiln. This can take up to 3 weeks. Then you can collect your piece and take it home. Beginners are warmly welcomed. Qualified and experienced British Weightlifting coaches Sal and Ez are excited to host an Olympic Weightlifting workshop at Crossfit Blackpool.
This workshop is open to all levels of lifter as long as you have some experience of the competition lifts, snatch, clean and jerk.
At the workshop we will not only cover the technical aspects of all lifts and provide a supportive and fun environment to throw some weight around but we will also cover key mobility work, specific primers and technical variations to develop your lifting skills and build confidence!
