Art Camps at Lee University are each one week- choose July 7-11 or July 14-18 Your choice of morning (9am-12pm) or afternoon (1pm-4pm) sessions. Purchasing more than one ticket? Camps are divided by students by grade levels: Art Beginners Camp with Mrs. Taylor Baker for rising K-2nd graders* is an active artistic learning experience. Students will enjoy learning about artists and nature and have lots of hands-on time crafting, painting, drawing, and modeling clay. Art Explorers Camp with Mrs. Mary Ann Poplin for rising 2-5th graders is structured like a school art class. Students will enjoy learning about artists and cultures, painting, drawing, and other mediums and practicing art skills all week. Art Insights Camp with Mrs. Katie Beehfor rising 6th-8th graders is designed to for students to learn about artists and receive specialized art instruction. Students will enjoy painting, drawing, 3D projects and practicing a wide variety of art skills. Revamp Art Camp (high school) for rising 9th-12th graders taught by Lee faculty members will be an emersive experience in student's choice of clay/ ceramics (morning sessions only) and drawing/painting (afternoon sessions only). High school students may register for morning and afternoon camp for a full day of camp, which will include a provided lunch. *Parents of rising 2nd graders can choose between the K-2nd camp or the 2nd-5th camp. There will be some writing activities in the 2nd-5th grade camp, and more active play for the K-2nd camp.
