CLASS: Women Only Introductory Pistol The total price of this course is $85.00 This is a 4-hour guided experience which provides female students the opportunity to learn how to shoot in a comfortable environment, surrounded by peers. Our instructors understand that everyone operates at different comfort levels around firearms and will work with students to ensure comfort while developing experience. Students will learn the 4 basic handgun safety rules, safety at home and on the range, proper shooting technique, and discuss the gun that could best suit individual preferences and needs. Don't divide items among group members; everyone should bring everything. Each Person Brings: Deli Meat (turkey, chicken, or ham; no deli counter meat) Sliced pre-packaged cheese Sliced wheat/white bread Yellow mustard (no spicy mustard or mayo) Halos, Cuties, or tangerines Large bags of chips (not individual bags) Ziploc sandwich bags (with zippers, not fold over) Event day: Arrive between 8:30-9:00 AM; the event starts at 9:00 AM. CLASS: Firearms Training Camp This three day 6 hour camp is for students 10-18 years old. The class will cover firearms safety inside and outside the home. We will also cover range etiquette, range safety, fundamentals, how ammunition and guns work. Participants will spend time in the classroom and on the range. Participants will also have the opportunity to shoot both rifles and handguns on Friday. Parents may attend if they choose, however their attendance is not mandatory. The instructors are NRA or law enforcement certified firearms safety instructors. The cost is $35.00 per student. A parent or guardian of students under 18 will be required to sign a waiver.
