Arts Comedy
Audience members will be positively delighted to observe morsels of gossip, plucked from their very lives, take shape in this entirely improvised play. A bespoke melange of skits and storytelling will lead them through parks, salons, drawing rooms, and country estates, with brief stops at the writing desk, and accompaniment by a dear cousin, playing along on the piano forte. This is an improvised comedy, and while the skilled improvisers will endeavour to keep the content respectable for their beloved audience, the content is ultimately unpredictable and will likely be most agreeable for adult audiences. However, should an auspicious child hold a keen interest in Regency & Austen literature, they may equally find it fitting. The 'Round Back stage is located outdoors and all scheduled events have a "rain or shine policy". Please check the weather before you arrive to ensure you're dressed appropriately-- we highly reccomend dressing in layers and bringing a blanket to get cozy as the summer sun dips toward the horizon!
