The duo draws from a rich tapestry of influences, including First Nations, Celtic, and Anglo-Saxon traditions, crafting narratives that reflect the distinct experiences and values of northern societies. Their music features an array of acoustic instruments, such as fiddle, accordion, guitar, piano, cello, percussion, and mouth harp, while their lyrics often weave through tales of love, adventure, hardship, and the beauty of nature. recently recorded his 9th record in Nashville TN with legendary producer Nash Chambers (Paul Kelly, Kasey Chambers, Archie Roach) which featured special guests Charlie McCoy (Elvis, Dylan), Tania Elizabeth (Avett Brothers, Mary Gauthier and Luck Oceans (Asleep at the Wheel). This road poet has performed over 5000 concerts in 11 countries armed with 5 instruments (Foot Bass & Snare Tam, Harmonica, Resonator & Acoustic Guitars) taking the light from the dark never repeating with masterful storytelling.
