MORETON MORRELL || GONG BATH || SOUND BATH | TRAMM CV35 9AL

Jul 7, 2025 (UTC+1)ENDED
Tweede Exloermond
Cultural Experiences
Join me for a gong bath in Moreton Morell (held monthly). If you need to unwind and stop all of that mind chatter for a little while then a gong bath will do just that for you. The power of the gong is due to the unique qualities of sound — which affect both your mind and body in a profound way. The sound of the gong can induce a meditative state as the sound waves wash over you and travel through you, vibrating every molecule inside your body. You might try and fight it but in the end you just have to switch off. Treat yourself to an hour where you don’t have to think about all the things that have been going on during the day and all the things you still need to do and join me for a magical hour of sound healing. This ancient technique is used not merely to bathe you in sound....it’s about what it does on the inside. Sound energy can have a healing impact on many levels. Deep vibration can release the tension of muscles and pain, it massages the organs and rewires the brain which allows stress and anxiety to disappear. For the gong bath all you need to do is turn up, lie down and get comfortable with blankets and pillows as you relax and “bathe” in the healing vibrations of sound. A number of different sounds and instruments will be played during this sound/gong bath, so you will experience many different vibrational frequencies washing over you. This is a monthly event and I aim to run the sessions on the first Monday of every month but please do check the date on the event page as this is not always possible with Bank Holidays. What you will need to bring with you... - yoga mat or something to lie on for comfort - 2 x bed pillows or cushions (for your head and beneath your knees so that your lower back can really relax) - 1 x eye pillow or light scarf to cover your eyes - 1 or 2 blankets - or something to cover yourself as your body temperature will drop as you relax People coming along to these sessions often comment on feeling like they're coming for a sleepover with everything they bring but everyone is the same so don't worry. What's most important for these sessions is that you're comfortable when you lay down for an hour. Just wear what you are most comfortable in, some people come along in leggings and others in jeans. H ow do I get to the venue? The postcode for the venue is CV35 9AL. 'The Room at Moreton Morrell' is behind The Church of the Holy Cross, Main Street, Moreton Morrell. If you walk down the path as if you were going to the church and as soon as you walk past the entrance to the church you will see the entrance to the room at the back of the church where we will be. Parking is on the road outside the church as it is not a main road that is a cut through to anywhere so this is fine. See images below of the path from the road that leads to the church and the entrance to the room at the back of the church. I s there parking at the venue? Parking is on the road outside the church as it is not a main road that is a cut through to anywhere so this is fine. What time does it start? It starts at 6.30pm but I am always there early so do come along earlier to give yourself time to settle in. Most people arrive 10mins before the start. How to get in touch... If you have any questions at all just give me a call on 01789 608378 otherwise I hope to see you soon! Information Source: Jan Weston at Creating Future Possibilities | eventbrite
