Date: August 23, 2025 Where: Norfolk County Fairgrounds & Apple Hill Lavender Bring the whole family for a fun and educational morning on the farm! Start your day at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds with a farm-fresh breakfast and interactive exhibits celebrating local agriculture. Then, travel by bus to Apple Hill Lavender for a guided tour through the apple orchard and lavender fields, complete with hands-on activities and farm and food displays. At Breakfast on the Farm , you’ll enjoy a delicious, farm-fresh breakfast and get a behind-the-scenes look at how food is grown and raised right here in Ontario. It’s a one-of-a-kind event where kids and adults alike can explore the exciting world of farming. What can you do at Breakfast on the Farm? Meet and learn about farm animals - Cows, sheep, goats and more. Discover an impressive equipment showcase you won’t want to miss! Explore interactive games and exhibits about where your food comes from. Tour an apple & lavender farm and chat with local farmers and food producers. Whether you're a lifelong farm fan or visiting for the first time, there's something for everyone to enjoy. It's a great chance to connect, learn, and make some unforgettable family memories. Tickets are $5 per person, with children 12 and under free. Each ticket includes one (1) breakfast sandwich (Peameal bacon, cheese, and fresh cracked egg on a bun) and milk. Children are free but still require an entry ticket. Important Ticket Information: This event will run from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Breakfast will be served until 12 p.m.; tour the exhibits until 2 p.m. Breakfast on the Farm will run rain or shine. There is no smoking or vaping permitted on any event grounds Dietary alternative sandwiches will be available on a first-come first-served basis. If you are not able to attend, there are no refunds, exchanges or credits towards future purchases. Tickets are transferable, so share them with friends or family if you are unable to attend. By attending this event, you consent to being photographed and filmed. Images and recordings may be used for promotional purposes. Tickets are on sale until Saturday, August 23 at 8 a.m. or until sold out.
