LeVolume
is the new and exciting project by canadian folk-scenesters and husband and wife dream team Jenny Whiteley and Joey Wright along with the multi-talented and going concern Julian Brown. Between the three of them they have a clutch of Juno Awards, a pair of Gold Records, a peck of Socan #1 Awards, a herd of Canadian Folk Awards Nominations and a murder of Crows. LeVolume’s self-titled, bi-lingual debut double-album is dropping in May, 2025, and the group is hitting the road to celebrate.
Aaron Davis
is a multiple Juno and Gemini award-winning composer, arranger and pianist. In 1979 he helped found world beat-jazz band Manteca, for whom he wrote many songs. He is a founding member of the Holly Cole Trio with whom he still performs and records. Davis has done all of her orchestral arrangements, which have been performed by symphonies across Canada, the U.S. and Japan. Davis has also collaborated on many projects around the world with classical soprano
Measha Brueggergosman-Lee
. Most recently Davis composed a 35-minute song cycle called "Zombie Blizzard", where he set
Margaret Atwood
poetry to music. He has also done orchestral & choral arrangements for other artists, including the
Art Of Time, Madeleine Peyroux, Alison Krauss, Natalie McMaster, David Clayton Thomas, Eliana Cuevas, Leahy,
the
Canadian Brass, Quartetto Gelato, Kevin Breit
and the
Iseler Singers.

Joey Wright
is a Juno-nominated songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and performer from Toronto. Joey is well known for his lyrical and inspired guitar and mandolin playing. He is also highly regarded for his compositions and songwriting.
Joey was one of the leading lights in the explosive bluegrass, old time and traditional country scene in Toronto in the 90’s and 2000’s. Joey joined
Jenny Whiteley
’s band in 1999, and their first two albums (

Michael Eckert
on pedal steel guitar. While mostly associated with country music, Michael's driving musical curiosity has taken him and his beautiful instrument to the far reaches of jazz, psychedelia and world music. His project

Eric Wright
is a very unique cellist. Raised on pure Vermont air and inspired by his love for American Old Time and Irish music, he sets out to incorporate cello into new and traditional music in ways that haven't been done before. Taking his innovative bowing techniques, chording styles, and 'the chop', to new levels, Eric has become a highly sought-after performer, accompanist, producer, session musician, and arranger for all types of folk styles.Eric has performed and recorded with numerous bands including
Ruth Moody, Trey Anastasio, Natalie MacMaster, The Fretless, John Reischman, Mairi Rankin
