Craft Workshop for Those Living with Dementia and a Family or Friend is an upcoming event that aims to provide a safe and nurturing space for individuals with dementia and their loved ones to connect, communicate, and create together. This workshop, which will take place on Saturday, November 18, from 11am to 12noon, is facilitated by Christina Smyth, a qualified art therapist from Meraki Art NI. The event will be held at the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre in Limavady, located at 24 Main Street, BT49 0FJ.
During this craft session, participants will have the opportunity to engage in relaxation, fun, and art-making activities. The workshop is designed to promote a sense of well-being and provide a creative outlet for those affected by dementia. The cost of attending this special event is £16, which covers both the person with dementia and a family member or friend.
Whether you are living with dementia or supporting someone who is, this craft workshop offers a unique opportunity to spend quality time together and discover the therapeutic benefits of art. Join us on November 18th at the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre for a meaningful and enjoyable experience.
