Join us on the Bluff at Alila Marea Beach Resort for Sunset Yoga. Movements are steady and deliberate, and will bring about strength, flexibility, focus and expansion of the heart. Every class is different but follows the same template: meditation, breathwork, sun salutations, standing poses, balancing poses, options for inversions, deep holds, back bends and eventually – the long awaited Savasana. We end class with a 10 minute rest, accompanied by sound bowls. You MUST pre-register for these classes· If there is inclement weather, we will need to reach you in a timely manner... so make sure you register early for class! Park at Ponto State Beach and walk up the steps to the Bluff We WILL have mats, blocks and some blankets but bring your own if you'd like! Encinitas Explorers Camp - Week 1: Nature's Architects Come join us for a week of fun and discovery at our Encinitas Explorers Camp ! In Week 1, we will be diving into the fascinating world of Nature's Architects . Kids will have the opportunity to learn about the incredible structures and creations made by animals and plants in our environment. Located at 95 N Vulcan Ave , our camp provides a hands-on experience for children to explore, learn, and appreciate the wonders of nature at Cottonwood Creek. This week is all about discovering the amazing ways in which we are all interdependent parts of a beautiful web of life. From hands-on science and art to scavenger hunts, music, and collaborative games, we will be igniting our imaginations and expanding our awareness through mindfulness practices together. Join us on the farm for Farming Fridays from 9:00-11:00am! These community farming workshops are an opportunity to get your hands in the soil, connect with our farm and farmers, and learn some basic regenerative farming skills. Workshop activities vary depending on the week and may include: seeding, transplanting, weeding, preparing beds for planting, harvesting, watering, animal care, and more. We’ll make sure you leave with some farm fresh veggies. Kids under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Anyone 13-18 years must have a parent or guardian sign a liability waiver upon drop-off. Please wear close-toed shoes (required). The sound can act as a gateway into the soul, bringing forth parts of us that need to be healed, and creating awareness of the aspects of ourselves that need to be seen or heard. This can be such a loving journey, enveloped in a sacred space, blessed by the alchemic sound bowls. The sound can be experienced as a deeply introspective journey or simply an invitation to relax. Julie is a certified practitioner for integrative sound healing and restorative yoga. She supports individuals/groups, organizations and retreats through sound meditation, breathing, gentle movement, creative expression, nature immersion, guided journaling and meditation. She believes our overall wellbeing is an ongoing practice between mind, body, spirit and nature. "It is a privilege and a responsibility to be alive. My goal is to support people in fostering their S.O.W.L. - sustainable overall wellbeing life." IMPORTANT INFORMATION We ask that you arrive into the space calmly and quietly.
