The Vixens! 19+ | The Vibrant Vine Winery
Jul 25, 2025 (UTC-7)
Kelowna
The Vixens are a powerhouse group of Cabaret & Theatre performers who put on extravagant performances all around the Okanagan. They are an extension from the performance troupe The Vocal Vixens from Rosecoloured Vocals run by Annarose Thomson. If you enjoyed the musical Chicago or the movie Burlesque then we are right up your alley! We are filled with triple threats of singing, dancing and acting.
Step into a world where velvet shadows dance, heels click in perfect time, and the spotlight doesn’t just shine—it
sizzles
.
The Vixens
are not your average cabaret troupe. We are a tantalizing blend of fierce vocals, intricate choreography, and comedy that will get you laughing off your seats. Paying homage to the golden era of Cabaret/Burlesque (but without the stripping) while injecting a modern, unapologetic edge.
Every performance is a decadent escape: feathers, sequins, and sin. From glittering solo ballads to ensemble numbers that erupt like champagne,
The Vixens
serve drama, desire, and elegance on a silver platter.
So—are you ready to be tempted?

Nightshades w/ Windmills // Kelowna, BC | Jackknife Brewing
Jul 27, 2025 (UTC-7)
Kelowna
Presented by Ollie North Productions
Nightshades’ second full-length album, ‘Inside Joke’ represents a natural and dramatic evolution for British Columbia’s genre-defying “super-group”. Following last year’s shimmering debut album ‘Reducer’, the four-piece (Andrew Judah, Common Fires, DL Ranney, N. Sherman) pivot into multi-pronged musical exploration: pairing patented instrumental intricacy and harmony with an increased sense of urgency and deeply expressive groove. From the post-punk, barn-burning intensity of ‘Kill the Gods’, ‘Echosound’, and ‘Animal’, to the needle-drop snappiness of ‘Orpheus’, ‘Apology’, and ‘See That Bear’, ‘Inside Joke’ contorts itself into diverse shapes with impossible fluidity and confidence.
With ‘Inside Joke’, nightshades celebrates two and a half years together. Despite their discography now showcasing 37 total songs, to use the word “prolific” would do the instrument-swapping quartet a disservice: ‘Inside Joke’ is not just the latest storied chapter in nightshades’ short history—it is Canada’s most-undefineable band moving forward beyond self-discovery and stepping into true creative actualization.
‘Inside Joke’—performed by nightshades, and produced by Andrew Judah—is out July 9th, 2025.
Ollie North Productions aims to create a safe event for ALL.

The Legendary Lake Monsters | The Vibrant Vine Winery
Aug 2, 2025 (UTC-7)
Kelowna
The Legendary Lake Monsters are a sizzling high energy 11-piece band bringing together the talents of Anita Baturin (vocals) and Paul May (vocals and guitar), Sergei Ryga (Keys/Vocal), Blair Shier (Bass) and Greg Baturin (Drums), with a driving 6 piece horn section of Alto Sax (Alex Barss), Tenor Sax (Craig Carmody), and Bari Sax (Cory Bagg), with Trombone (Ann Dorval) andTrumpets (Rick Smith and Al Szeliga).
Think Gloria Estefan meets Amy Winehouse walking into a club to jam with the Tower of Power and Carlos Santana is playing guitar with Prince, all this is happening in Chicago. That’s the Legendary Lake Monsters from Vernon, British Columbia. Dance was the reason that The Legendary Lake Monsters formed in 2012, creating a dance band unlike any other in the Okanagan; a dynamic and entertaining horn-driven sound, playing music from a wide range of genres including Swing, R&B, 60s to 90s Pop and Rock (such as Blondie, Eurythmics, David Bowie, Van Morrison, B52, Chicago, Stevie Wonder, Beatles, etc), Rat Pack, Funk, Latin, and 21st-century horns-based music from artists such as Bruno Mars, Colin James, Cake, Amy Winehouse. Maroon Five, Trombone Shorty, Adele, Meghan Trainor, Magic, Shemekia Copeland, etc... The Monsters can do full sets of one genre, or mix them up depending on the event.
Members of the band have shared the stage with internationally known artists such as: Colin James, Mike Reno (Loverboy), Jo Burt (formerly of Black Sabbath), Dzal Martin (The Equals), Jack Lovin (Powder Blues), Russell Jackson (The BB King Band), Alfie Zappacosta, Paul Laine, and Sonny Rhodes (Sonny Rhodes Blues Band).
In the past few years, the Legendary Lake Monsters have played to large audiences at Vernon’s Funtastic Music Festival, the Penticton Peach Fest Music Festival, Penticton's massive Rib and Music Festival, Vernon Jazz Club, Vibrant Vine Winery, Lorenzo's Cafe, The Green Pub, Sparkling Hills resort and the 400+ capacity Vernon Prestige Lodge, performing a fabulous Bond 007 themed New Years night in 2015, a popular 2017 sizzling Mardi Gras New Years, and a classy Rat Pack Las Vegas 2018 NYE tribute. We have also performed at many private functions, parties, weddings and fundraiser events such as Rotary Dream Auction, Kindale Diamond Premiere, Cotton's Chocolate Valentine's for Mexico, and Dancing with Vernon and Shuswap Stars.
Children aged 12-19 are welcome to attend – they must have a ticket and be accompanied by an adult.

A Guided Hike + Vineyard-Top Yoga + Private Tasting in a 100-Year-Old Orchard
Step out of the ordinary and into something truly special — a morning of mindful movement, breathtaking views, and meaningful connection in one of the Okanagan Valley’s most magical settings.
We’ll begin with a gentle 10–15 minute guided hike through lush vineyard rows, the golden morning light spilling across the landscape as we make our way to a hilltop lookout. At the summit, you'll be greeted by sweeping panoramic views of the valley below — the perfect place to pause, breathe, and drop into the present.
Together, we’ll flow through an energizing, all-levels Vinyasa yoga class designed to awaken the body, open the heart, and connect you with the land beneath your feet. Surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, this is yoga in its purest, most grounding form.
After a restful savasana under open skies, we’ll slowly make our way back down to the orchard, where a beautiful private wine and cider tasting awaits. Set among the gnarled branches of a century-old apple orchard, you’ll sample a curated selection of handcrafted wines and ciders made on-site — each sip a reflection of the land’s rich history and vibrant energy.
Enjoy time to relax, wander, chat with new friends, or simply take it all in. Whether you're here to move, to sip, or just to breathe it all in — this is your time.
