Camp runs August 11-15, 2025. From 1-5 p.m. daily. 62 Broadway, a vibrant community arts space in Corner Brook, NL, is hosting an exciting songwriting, recording, and performance camp. This camp offers a comprehensive experience for aspiring musicians and songwriters of all levels. Participants will have the opportunity to work with experienced instructors Geraldine Hollett, Sherman, Downey, & Louis McDonald to develop their songwriting skills, learn the intricacies of recording their music, and gain confidence in live performance. All members have years of performing experience in solo projects and other bands. The music of Pink Floyd features selections from the Syd Barrett, Roger Waters and post Waters albums. Each song strives to recreate the original listening experience. Mike Fisher Bio, Bass Vocals Mike has toured eastern, central and western Canada. He founded The Reaction, one of Newfoundland’s earliest punk bands. He also founded NEON and Hammingwell. Hammingwell featured Jeff White and was renowned for recreating Pink Floyd music. Both Hammingwell CDs of original music were nominated for alternative CD of the year. His first solo release was Psych-E-Punk. Released June 2020 was nominated for the Rock Artist of the Year by MusicNL. His 2nd solo release, Diary of a Psychic Vampire was released on digital platforms April 2023, as well as CD. Support shows were in Gander, Carbonear and a successful release show at The Ship Pub and in store performance at Freds Records. Bob Davis Bio, Drums Bob has played in many bands in the seventies, most notably Ikabod Krane with Dave Panting, Denis Parker, Fraser Wall, Debbie Squires, Ivan Marcotte and others. In 1992 he helped establish the Music Industry Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (later MusicNL)as a charter member to advance the province’s musicians and industry. In 2007 his music store Musicstop was sold to Long & McQuade where Bob stayed on in a management role. Bob continued to advocate for music community including Music Therapy at The Janeway. The St. John’s L&M became one of the top 10 music stores in Canada. In 2022 Bob joined VOWR radio as an active board member advancing Newfoundland and Labrador’s musicians and a 100-year-old, all volunteer, radio station. Bob currently plays drums in a wide variety of music groups including One Night Stand, Ginger and The Flames, Calver Street and the Mike Fisher Psych-E-Punk Band and Echoes. Jeff White Bio, Guitar, Vocals Jeff has played professionally in various bands since early 70's. Original member of Hammingwell along with Mike Fisher, David Bailey, Steve Jackson and Eric Bailey. Released 2 CDs, both of which were nominated for alternative album of the year. Jeff has also performed in various musical theater productions such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Scrooge, Narnia, and Jesus Christ Superstar. Jeff is currently playing bass in Mike Fisher's Psych-E- Punk Bandas well as Echoes, and doing his own solo shows at various venues. Justin Foley Bio, Keyboards, Vocals Justin is a talented multi-instrumentalist, performer and actor. He is well known in the St. John’s area for his performance art, hosting open mics at various venues and work with the NL film and television industry. Justin has worked with Mike and Jeff in the past in Hammingwell and is currently playing keyboards with Echoes. Justin Foley Bio, Keyboards, Vocals Justin is a talented multi-instrumentalist, performer and actor. Andrew Kay has spent the last decade crafting laughs while living in Toronto, Halifax, Corner Brook, and his hometown St. John’s, NL. In addition to Stand-up Comedy, odd jobs have kept him afloat while performing small roles in Hudson & Rex, Riverhead (AIFF), and Black Conflux (TIFF).
