Join us for our popular Chamber NetWalking event. This time taking place in the beautiful and rural Horton Country Park, Chessington. We will be walking, talking, networking and taking in the beautiful surroundings. You don't need to be a serious walker to take part. Meeting time: 9.00am – walking start at 9.10am Meeting point: Filby Road, Chessington KT9 2AQ Parking: Free street parking is available on Filby Road Nearest train station: Chessington North The walk will last approximately 75 minutes, returning to the starting point by 11.00am. Feel free to bring your own refreshments, though there will be an opportunity to grab a coffee midway through the walk. We'll journey through Castle Hill Natural Reserve and Horton Country Park during the walk, reaching The Old Moat Café, where we'll pause for a break in the outdoor gardens. After our break, we'll return to our starting point, aiming to arrive around 11 am. We look forward to seeing you there! Who will be attending the event? First Aid training will now cost £50 including VAT, which is significantly less than the actual cost of providing the training. The course will provide learners with essential basic first aid skills and knowledge to handle first aid related emergencies in the workplace under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. It is based on the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) training standard for delivery of Emergency First Aid at Work Courses. The course is both theoretical and practical and will cover all that is required under HSE recommendations. Meet our ride captains and the team from Assos in front of the store on the 15th June from 8:30 am to roll out at 8:45 am. Three groups will head out from the store for a couple of hours riding. We have three different speed groups, each taking a slightly different route. Speed group 1 +28kph following this route. Speed group 2 26-28kph route TBC Speed group 3 24-26kph route TBC Please note, that these are challenging routes suited to cyclists with experience riding in groups. We’ll be walking, talking, and networking - it is a slightly longer walk ( 4 miles) but don’t worry, no hiking experience is required! The route takes us through a variety of landscapes, beginning at Tolworth Court Farm, one of London’s premier nature reserves, followed by the riverbank into the picturesque Ewell Court Park, where we’ll pause for a coffee break.
