Meet the iconic masterpiece COMPANION by world-class artist Mr. Brian Donnelly, also known as KAWS, with a gigantic 18-meter-high statue that will appear in the middle of Sanam Luang, a landmark of Bangkok for the first time in Thailand from 13-25 May 2025.

Sanam Royal Plaza is an open green space in Bangkok, close to the Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha Temple. It is not only an important royal ceremony site, but also a public space for citizens to relax. It was once used for solemn ceremonies such as the king&#39;s enthronement and royal cremation. Now it has become a good place for Bangkok citizens to take a walk and fly kites.

The square is surrounded by historical buildings. Standing here, you can overlook the golden roof of the Grand Palace and feel the solemn atmosphere of the Thai royal family. At dusk, the square is even more brilliant under the setting sun. If it happens to be a festival or celebration, it is even more lively here, showing the unique charm of Thai culture.

We&rsquo;ve spent whole day here. My kids are having a lot of fun here. A lot of interesting places inside. My only complaint is I hope they allowed outside food as muslim has limited options inside.

Siam Old City One-Day Itinerary

1. We were in Chonburi, and took a taxi directly to Siam Old City. Grab dropped us off right at the ticket booth.

2. We booked tickets one day in advance on Ctrip for 78 RMB per person. Just show the QR code at the ticket exchange window next to the ticket booth; the staff will give you either a Chinese or English map.

3. You can rent cars at the ticket office. They have electric scooters, golf carts, 2-seater and 4-seater models.

4. For costume changes and photo opportunities, go a little further inside the ticket exchange hall to shop number 1. We got makeup, hair, clothing, and a 1-hour videographer for 5300 baht for 2 people, covering 3 attractions.

5. Siam Old City is huge; you could easily spend 4 hours exploring by car. It&#39;s recommended to book your costume change appointment as soon as you enter, and schedule it for a later time to allow enough time for sightseeing. If you choose a good spot, there will be a shuttle to take you there for photos. So you can either start taking photos right away and then explore, or go later to take photos and explore first.

SEA LIFE Bangkok is a great place to visit, especially if you&rsquo;re traveling with kids. The aquarium is large, well-organized, and has many impressive displays, from the glass tunnel to the shark zone. It&rsquo;s a bit busy during peak hours, but overall a fun and memorable experience right in the center of the city.
