Alchemy of Fusion - Grand Opening is an exciting new bi-monthly fusion partner dance series happening in Berkeley. This fusion partner dance event takes place at the beautiful Berkeley Alembic, a nonprofit center dedicated to body-mind transformation. The event aims to bring together dancers from all backgrounds, creating a space for meaningful encounters and a shared journey of creative expression.

The evening kicks off with an open level class taught by Emily Webb. This class is suitable for dancers of all experience levels, so whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, there will be something for you to learn. The class is included with the admission fee, which is $20 - $25.

After the class, the Fusion Social begins, featuring DJ's Joe Gray and Jonathan Liu. Dance to a fusion of different dance genres, blending elements from various styles. Fusion partner dancing values improvisation, musicality, and connection with your partner, making it a unique and exciting dance experience.

No partner is necessary for this event, so you can come as you are and meet new people on the dance floor or at the tea lounge. Just bring a water bottle, wear comfortable clothes to move in, and don't forget deodorant or mouthwash (things might get close on the dance floor!).
