The ALiCE Creative Minds Symposium is an upcoming event taking place on Saturday, 9th December 2023 from 16:30 to 18:30 at JV H.O.M.E in Ashford. Hosted by award-winning Sadler's Wells Associate Artist Jasmin Vardimon MBE, this symposium follows the success of the Pinocchio and Medusa Creative Minds Symposiums. It offers a unique opportunity for attendees, including the general public, researchers, students, and teachers, to engage with a panel of leading thinkers, contemporary philosophers, and creative minds as they analyze, respond to, and debate Vardimon's critically acclaimed production of ALiCE.

ALiCE is a powerful and thought-provoking performance that tells the story of a woman or child grappling with her identity and embarking on a journey of self-discovery. Escaping and exploring, she discovers the transformative powers within her changing body. The world she encounters is both curious and compelling, often veering into the realm of the absurd. Following the success of its initial tour, ALiCE will be returning to venues across the UK before embarking on an international tour.

Created by award-winning choreographer Jasmin Vardimon, ALiCE presents a reimagining of the classic Alice in Wonderland tale. Audiences can expect a sensory feast of arresting images, powerful performers, and striking kinetic scenery. Performances will take place at JV H.O.M.E on Friday, 8th December at 7:30 pm and Saturday, 9th December at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm.

When booking tickets for the Creative Minds Symposium, attendees will receive a promo code for a £3 discount on a Saturday performance of ALiCE. Ticket prices for the symposium and performances include external booking fees. ALiCE is co-commissioned by Sadler's Wells and DanceEast, ICCI, and supported by Kent County Council.
