Inspired by visionary pioneer Brigid Marlin, Krisztina's current body of work explores a hybrid of Mische and Alla Prima techniques, producing hyperealistic sacred art. Her paintings reflect themes of pop shamanism, the occult, magic, psychedelics, and the environment movement, resonating with today's cultural climate.

Originally from Cleveland, OH, Krisztina Lazar earned her BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and her MFA graduate degree from the San Francisco Art Institute. Her artwork has been exhibited in group and solo shows across the United States and Europe, including the H.R. Geiger museum in Gruyere, Switzerland. She also teaches her unique painting styles to students in both group and private settings.
