TRISTAN OLIVER has been a cinematographer for over 25 years and have worked across the disciplines. His long collaboration with director Nick Park includes Academy award winners, ‘Wrong Trousers’, ‘A Close Shave’ and ‘Curse of the Were- Rabbit’. Tristan’s work with other directors has produced BAFTA short winners, ‘Stage Fright’ and ‘The Big Story’ as well as the popular feature films ‘Chicken Run’ and the Academy award nominated, ‘The Fantastic Mr Fox’, 'ParaNorman' and 'Isle of Dogs'. Tristan Oliver was live action cinematographer for the Academy Award nominated 'Loving Vincent' the first fully painted animated movie where live footage is painstakingly overpainted in the style of Van Gogh. More recently he has worked on 'Coppelia', a reinterpretation of the classical ballet with the Dutch National Ballet where real dancers exist in a fantasy 2D world and 'Where is Anne Frank?' directed by Ari Folman. An amazing castle and visiting the grounds was a treat. Full of history and going through the surroundings, it wasn&#39;t repetitive and not boring at all. I absolutely loved it and it&#39;s was very interesting. I love the Arab Room and the war shelters.Reasonable priced tickets compared to the Royal castle prices.I highly recommend this visit for all ages.The staff were friendly and helpful.I love Cardiff. It&#39;s so refreshing compared to London.

Pleasant enough way to spend a couple of hours. Went primarily to see the paintings but (and of course this is entirely a matter of personal taste) there wasnt a lot to rock my boat and not a lot of range. Some of the pottery was quite interesting but could have been better displayed. The natural history section on the ground floor was rather more interesting than expected- not too &quot;dry&quot;

Cardiff Bay is very easy to go.  It is very closed to Cardiff Central Station.  You can take the bus or walk 30 mins from central station.  It is free to visit, of course, and the scenary there is fantastic.  You can spend a few hours there, no doubt.  Take lots of pictures there.  There are a lot of shops and restaurant and coffee shop there.  So once you are tired, you can grab a coffee there, by sitting next to the seashore, enjoying the coffee and the sea at the same time.  Different kinds of pubs and restaurant there, from high class to family restaurant.  There are also a few historical buildings there, and there is a modern exhibition center there.  The design of its outlook is so high tech, you definitely will fall in love with it.
