The brilliant Geoff Dyer, author of four novels, numerous non-fiction books & winner of many literary awards, is coming to Waterstones Brighton to launch his latest book 'Homework: A Memoir'.
Geoff Dyer, author of 'The Colour Of Memory', 'The Last Days Of Roger Federer' & 'Yoga For People Who Can't Be Bothered To Do It', amongst many others, is coming to Waterstones Brighton for the launch of his latest book, 'Homework: A Memoir'.
In 'Homework', Geoff Dyer reflects on his childhood and what it means to come of age in England in the 60s & 70s, on the cusp of seismic social change and  is described by Tessa Hadley as "moving, atmospheric, truthful, perceptive and hilariously funny - I loved it: a piece of our English history, the story of a vanished time, which feels close at hand but thoroughly gone. What a story. What a great story."
It is such a privilege to have Geoff Dyer, one of our most observant, witty & original writers, launching 'Homework' at Waterstones Brighton and we hope you will join us for what is going to be a very special evening.

Had my first date here with my partner and we hadthe best time. An amazing aquarium with abeautiful atmosphere, lights and gorgeouscreatures! I love animals and fish and seeing themhere was wonderful. Staff were lovely and veryknowledgeable. The place was clean, easy tonavigate and extremely ambient and beautiful. We went on a Thursday afternoon so was pretty quiet!

One of the best piers in the South of England. There is lots to do with tons of seaside rides, fun arcade games and food. Highly recommend catching the sunset here and if you&rsquo;re lucky you might catch the starlings dancing at dusk, I didn&rsquo;t know they do this and it was the most spectacular striking and stunning natural phenomenon I had seen, it was mesmerising. Highest chances of seeing the starlings dance is between November-March, we visited in early March
