Colleen Sam, Kalkadoon (Kalkadunga) woman and visual artist, and her mother, Aunty Ena Sam, share the powerful story of the Kalkadoon people’s resilience, survival, and unwavering strength. For generations, Colleen and Aunty Ena’s ancestors safeguarded their cultural knowledge in secret, ensuring that the Sam family’s identity remained strong, despite persistent efforts to erase it. The exhibition features a dedicated learning and healing space, including a yarning circle for community discussions. There are many places in the center of Brisbane that tempt me to go and play, and it is also very convenient to take the bus, so whenever I have time, I will come here to find those must-visit places, and I don&rsquo;t want to miss any of them. The Queensland State Library is a place that cannot be missed. It is located in the cultural district of the center of Brisbane, Australia, on the south bank of the Brisbane River. In fact, I have walked past this building several times, and I didn&rsquo;t expect it to be a library from the outside.
Later I asked someone and they said: The 1st to 3rd floors of this building are the library. Sure enough, the library is spacious, bright, and quiet. You can enter directly without going through any procedures.
The layout of the three floors is unique, and the space is diverse and suitable for learning, reading, and surfing the Internet. It is very practical and artistic. The style of the Queensland State Library is refreshing, and I like this quiet place very much.

The blue sky and beautiful water are a great place for a vacation. Australia is indeed a tourist destination! I bid farewell to the talkativeness of Shanghai and came here to be as warm as spring.
There are few people and it feels very good. I can also eat oysters at night, which is super delicious.

This is a great way to see the Brisbane River and enjoy a leisurely ride to Lone Pine Sanctuary. The staff are friendly and efficient. There is a small bar on board where you can get some tasty snacks, my husband loved the sausage rolls. On the journey there you get commentary and on the way home easy listening music. So if you are not in a hurry enjoy the excursion.
