Each colour and pattern create a visual narrative and convey stories of the different artists. Join storyteller Hafiz Rashid and Wild Dot for an engaging session of regional folktales inspired by the exhibition’s artworks, paired with insights into their concepts and the stories behind them.  About the Artist Wild Dot is a nature-guided studio from Singapore started by Shirin Rafie and Liz Liu in 2020. Combining their interests in art, botany, and design, they have been experimenting with inks and pigments from plants and earth found in Singapore, and are just beginning to uncover the stories behind the colours people make. Their mission is to share the joy and labour of colour making through designing playful artmaking experiences with others. They also hope that the process of making can be an accessible way for more people to form more meaningful relations with the environment. Hafiz Rashid is an experienced museum docent who has been volunteering with the National Heritage Board (NHB) since 2013. He is also a storyteller who has performed at various events such as Storyfest at the Arts House and Singapore Heritagefest. In 2021, he received the Teman Warisan award in recognition of his dedication and contribution to Malay arts and heritage. His research interests include learning about the history, culture, folklore, and languages of the Malay Archipelago, with a special focus on textiles. He is often seen wearing these textiles during his tours and storytelling sessions, sharing the stories behind their motifs and designs - stories with deep links to the past. About CANVAS/S: Tales as New as Time Take a fresh look at an old tale with our exhibition series CANVAS/S: Tales as New as Time. With art installations that respond to the story of “The Two Widows” as depicted in Singapore Children’s Favourite Stories, come experience the exhibition happening at Jurong Regional Library on 17 January to 17 March 2025. Each iteration of CANVAS/S is proudly helmed by local artists or collectives. At the exhibition, get up close and personal with the artworks and discover more about the techniques and thought process behind the art. Looking for a deeper experience? There are not many people in the museum, probably because of the rain, it is very empty. It should be a good experience for people who like to visit exhibitions. For me, there are almost no exhibits, all text boards, and the cost performance is low compared to domestic museums.

Sentosa Island is very good, the theme park has more projects, Jurassic Park, Xiaohuangren, etc. On the island, the ecology is mainly good, there are many birds, and I have seen seagulls, peacocks and lizards. The accommodation is more expensive. The hotel does not provide breakfast. Others are OK.
