The inaugural Arts@Work Economic Development Summit is set to take place in Kingsport, Tennessee on September 22nd and 23rd, 2023. Additionally, the summit will feature a town hall meeting, portfolio and reel review opportunities for creatives, networking sessions, concurrent workshops with film professionals, and academic paper presentations. The Saturday keynote address will be delivered by esteemed television and film chefs, Chef T and Tanya Cauthen. Attendees can also look forward to film screenings, an exhibit showcasing selected reels from The Overmountain Animation Festival, and the opening of the Eat/Art Space in the Create Appalachia gallery.
