Ashwyn Singh, an Indian-immigrant-turned-standup-comedian, will be recording his mini-special on January 28th at The Jazz Room in Waterloo. This exclusive event, presented in collaboration with the UW Indian Cultural Association (UWICA), is open only to current UW students. Please note that valid student ID will be required at the door for entry. If you are not a student, we encourage you to attend the 7 PM taping instead. 

Ashwyn Singh has gained recognition for his hilarious comedy, captivating audiences across India and Canada. With credits including opening for renowned acts like Mark Normand, Bassem Youssef, Atul Khatri, and Zarna Garg, Ashwyn's talent has been showcased on platforms such as CBC's hit show The Debaters, as well as the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. His Desi Translations series has amassed over 15 million views, solidifying his status as a rising star in the comedy scene.

This live taping at The Jazz Room is a one-time opportunity to witness Ashwyn's unique and side-splitting material. Doors open at 9:00 PM, and seating will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. We kindly ask attendees to arrive promptly, as latecomers may not be granted entry.
