Angela's literary prowess extends to numerous publications, including short fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry in esteemed journals such as The Louisville Journal and the Appalachian Review. Her novels have garnered rave reviews from reputable sources like the Library Journal, Alabama Public Library, Buzzfeed, Parade Magazine, and Women's Weekly. When Stars Rain Down, one of her previous works, was recognized as a finalist for the 2021 David J. Langum, Sr. Prize in American Historical Fiction, and Homeward, the eagerly anticipated follow-up, was published in October of 2023 by Harper Muse. Delving into the story of Rose Perkins Bourdon in 1962 Georgia, Homeward narrates her journey of self-discovery and growth as she embarks on a path intertwined with the Civil Rights Movement.
