Take some creative time out and join Saskia at Gallery 1855 where you will explore ceramic hand building techniques to make a unique keepsake. Creating with clay is so immersive, relaxing and enjoyable. If you are a parent with a baby you are encouraged to come along. Bring baby with you and settle into our warm and cozy baby-friendly studio, surrounded by artwork and blossoming trees outside. While there you can share your unique birth story or parenting journey with Saskia and the other parents. After the workshop Saskia will take your ceramic creations to a local kiln to fire them. She will return them to the gallery for you to collect at a later date. About Saskia the facilitator Saskia is a professional and registered midwife who also has a creative practice as a ceramic artist. She lives locally and has been supporting new parents with their parenting journey for many years.
