Saint-Maurice-de-l'Echouerie Events in September, 2025

In this series, which will take place Friday evenings between September 2025 and May 2026 (except December), we will discuss the work of Paulo Freire and the changes in his thoughts throughout his life, considering also the historical and political contexts he lived in, his influences and legacy. Each session will be based on one or more of his main books. Other readings by authors who influenced or were influenced by Freire may be added to discuss the formation of his ideas and his legacy.

Pédagogie des opprimés
 : l’évolution de la pensée de Freire
Dans cette série, qui se déroulera les vendredis soirs entre septembre 2025 et mai 2026 (à l’exception de décembre), nous discuterons de l’œuvre de Paulo Freire et des évolutions de sa pensée tout au long de sa vie, en tenant compte également des contextes historiques et politiques dans lesquels il a vécu, ainsi que de ses influences et de son héritage. Chaque séance sera consacrée à un ou plusieurs de ses ouvrages principaux. D’autres lectures, provenant d’auteurs et d’autrices qui ont influencé Freire ou qui ont été influencé·e·s par lui, pourront être ajoutées afin d’examiner la formation de sa pensée et son héritage.
