Lauren runs our monthly Creative Writing Group for people with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) / Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD). The group offers a chance for like-minded people to gather in a safe environment, socialise and have fun, whilst gaining experience and confidence in using creative writing as a tool for escapism, self-expression. These free sessions include games, exercises, discussion etc.
Anyone who is over 18 and has a diagnosis of BPD/EUPD is very welcome to come along to our writing group - you really don't need any previous writing experience or talent - it's more about just expressing yourself and having fun!
(Please note that our groups are not therapy groups to explore difficulties, but rather a space to focus on positive elements of ourselves and our lives). We know it can be scary coming to a new group, but everyone is really lovely and will make you feel welcome.
