These presentations represent the culmination of nine months of dedicated work, research, and creative problem-solving. What to ExpectSecond Year Presentations (May 8th, 2025) Students will present their technical design proposals for a new university campus building for the School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing at Leeds Beckett University. These presentations will showcase their approach to educational space design, demonstrating their growing understanding of construction technology, building regulations, and sustainable design principles. The project challenges students to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical applications for a real-world institutional context. Final Year Presentations (May 13th-14th, 2025) Our graduating students will showcase their comprehensive capstone projects focused on a multi-purpose development site in Spain. These presentations will exhibit professional-level work that integrates advanced technical knowledge, climate-responsive design solutions, UK building regulations application, and industry-standard documentation. The international context challenges students to consider different environmental conditions, construction methods, demonstrating their readiness to enter the architectural technology profession with confidence and global expertise. Opportunities for Industry ProfessionalsAs a panel member, you will: Provide valuable industry feedback to emerging professionalsParticipate in the assessment process alongside academic staffNetwork with potential future employees and colleaguesGain insight into current architectural technology educationContribute to the professional development of the next generation of architectural technologistsParticipation DetailsPanel members are invited to attend for full or half-day sessions. Refreshments and lunch will be provided for all participants. Presentation Format: Second Year Presentations: 30-minute presentations followed by 10-minute Q&AFinal Year Presentations: 40-minute presentations followed by 10-minute Q&AJoin us in celebrating the achievements of our students while helping to shape the future of the architectural technology profession.
