If the Friday event is cancelled, it is rescheduled for Saturday at the same time. If Saturday is also cloudy, we will try again on Sunday at the same time. If Sunday is ALSO cloudy, we will still go-ahead with the tour with alternate activities - a classroom presentation plus seeing how the telescope works (our telescope cannot see through clouds!). 
Your confirmation email from your Eventbrite registration will have useful information.
If you are not available for at least two of these nights, in fairness to others who are, please don't reserve tickets.
The Open House lasts about 90 minutes and includes visiting the Observatory, looking at various astronomical objects through our big telescope, and discussing the nature of these objects.
Suitable for ages 8 and up. Note that the observatory is NOT accessible - there are two flights of stairs.

. Parking is free in the "General" lots (see map!) after 5pm on weekdays and during weekends.

Gorgeous! We busted around mid October and the leaves were begging to change. Everything was so well kept and picture perfect. They had flowers I&rsquo;d never seen before. They were so pretty!! Enjoyed walking around here for a while!

Peggy Bay is a must-see to Halifax. The lighthouse is on the island, facing the sea and the scenery is beautiful. There are souvenirs and local specialties on the tower, and it is very meaningful to buy a little to commemorate. There are restaurants around, there are a lot of people, we didn&#39;t go. There are also special lobsters, fished out of the sea, cooked in time for you, it is necessary to taste.
