Meet the researchers tackling global challenges through cutting-edge work in ocean science, climate solutions, medicine, clean technology, and policy that’s impacting everything from environmental law to the care of childhood pain, and so much more.
This is your chance to discover groundbreaking ideas, experience new innovations and hear from researchers helping to solve some of the world’s toughest problems.

1. 
Brain Repair Centre:
 A world-class neuroscience research institute focused on reversing illness and injuries to the brain and nervous system. Make connections with Jim Fawcett and Eleanor Seaman-Bolton.
2. Centre for Transformative Nursing & Health Research: 
A nursing-led, interprofessional research centre focused on transformational research to improve health, equity, and social outcomes. Make connections with Julie Barry and Megan Aston.
3. Centre for Water Resources Studies
: The Centre for Water Resource Studies is addressing real-world water challenges in Nova Scotia and beyond. Make connections with Rayleen MacDonald.
4. 
Law and Technology Institute
: The Law and Technology Institute promotes legal research and leadership in technology law and policy from a Canadian perspective. Make connections with Suzie Dunn.
5. MacEachen Institute
: The MacEachen Institute is a non-partisan, interdisciplinary institute supporting progressive public policy and citizen engagement. Make connections with Karina Matys and Jerry Bannister.
6. Marine & Environmental Law Institute
: The Marine & Environmental Law Institute is internationally recognized for excellence in marine and environmental law teaching and research. Make connections with Sara Seck.
7. MicroResearch
: MicroResearch builds capacity for community-focused health research to improve health outcomes through local solutions. Make connections with Kelly Hunter, Bob Bortolussi, and Noni MacDonald.
8. Ocean Frontier Institute:
 The Ocean Frontier Institute is a global leader in interdisciplinary ocean research focused on climate, biodiversity, and sustainable bioresources. Make connections with Sara Leslie.
9. Solutions for Kids in Pain:
 Solutions for Kids in Pain (SKIP) mobilizes evidence-based solutions to improve children’s pain management across Canada. Make connections with Louise Tunnah.

Gorgeous! We busted around mid October and the leaves were begging to change. Everything was so well kept and picture perfect. They had flowers I&rsquo;d never seen before. They were so pretty!! Enjoyed walking around here for a while!

Peggy's Cove

我见青云多妩媚

Peggy&#39;s Cove is a must-see attraction when visiting Halifax. The lighthouse is on a small island, facing the sea, with beautiful scenery. There are souvenirs and local specialty products on the tower, and it is meaningful to buy some as souvenirs. There are restaurants around, but they are crowded, so we didn&#39;t go. There are also special lobsters, freshly caught from the sea, cooked for you in time, it is very necessary to try them.
