About the Artist and Exhibition: In this series, Chad traces the historical and contemporary landscape of peatlands in and around The Sperrins, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Chad’s exploration delves into the cultural and environmental significance of bogs, examining the personal, economical and mythical relationships between people and the land. Through this body of work, he highlights the complexities between destructive effects of industrial practices, such as drainage, extraction, afforestation, and unregulated burning, that can harm these fragile ecosystems, contributing to a warming climate.  Chad Alexander is an artist born and based in Belfast with a practice characterized by his home. With a focus on the aftermath of conflict, Chad explores the impact this has upon urban environments, individuals, and communities.

Belfast Botanic Garden is close to the famous Queen&#39;s University. It also has the largest museum in Northern Ireland. The whole botanic garden feels relatively long and narrow. Several exits naturally connect the residential area, school and museum, becoming a means of commuting for many residents. There are also certain activities in the botanical garden during Christmas, which is very lively at night. It is more like a market.

This attraction is really immersive and fun whilst being informative. Diving into the history of how the titanic right from the beginning the experience really gives you a clear idea on how people lived and worked back then. This tour is perfect for any age group and is a great way to spend a few outs of your day.

We were led by a big-bellied man, who took the middle staircase to the second floor. He asked us to introduce ourselves at the circular handrail in the middle. We were from all over the country, and most of us were foreigners. Then he led us to the parliament hall, which is where the parliamentarians usually hold meetings. There was a microphone at each seat. He then began to talk about the origin and function of this building, and spoke with great vigor. Everyone could sit anywhere, even the speaker&#39;s seat. After the introduction, he led us to visit other halls. The huge banquet hall was covered with thick and beautiful red carpet. I can&#39;t remember which hall was covered with blue carpet.

The walls are covered with various graffiti works, most of which are paintings expressing peace in Northern Ireland. Some of the graffiti works are very moving and worth appreciating.

The streets of Herceg Novi are a bit deserted, unlike the old town of Kotor, where large cruise ships dock every day, bringing a large number of elderly European groups. But because there are fewer people, you can stroll around slowly and discover more beauty.
