Experience the enchanting melodies celebrating the wonders of nature at the upcoming event, "Children of the Earth - Songs of nature, discovery and hope." Hosted by the Calgary Renaissance Singers and Players, this musical journey will take place on April 28, 2024, at the prestigious Patricia A. Whelan Performance Hall in the heart of downtown Calgary. 

Featuring a lineup of talented artists including students from the Niitsitapi Learning Centre, oboe virtuoso Walter MacDonald White Bear, and soprano sensation Katie Partridge, the concert promises a captivating performance. Delight in the harmonious sounds of compositions by renowned artists like Thomas Weelkes, Orlando Gibbons, as well as pieces from Cree composers Sherryl Sewepagaham and Andrew Balfour. 

The event will also include a special rendition of "Hope for Resolution," a poignant piece originally dedicated to Frederik Willem de Klerk and Nelson Mandela. Paying homage to the late Artistic Director, Jane Perry, the program will feature her favorite works such as Palestrina's "Sicut Cervus" and the premiere of Peter Anthony Togni's "Magnificat," a touching tribute to her legacy. Don't miss this extraordinary musical experience filled with messages of peace, harmony, and unity. Ticket prices range from $0 to $25.

A fun, festive, and educational experience foreveryone. The Park has an assortment ofactivities, rides, food, civic museums, and heritage architecture emphasizing the cultural significance of early Prairie settlement/life.It&#39;s like taking a step back in time, and it&#39;s worthevery dollar. 11/10 do recommend.

it&#39;s a nice place to visit not only for kids but for adults who love animals as well. i went here alone, and it was nice to have a walk and see the animals at the same time. sadly,the pandas are gone, but i got to see them before they&#39;re gone.

It looks like a tunnel bridge, and it is also a transportation hub for passing through the other side of the river. The color of this bridge is very eye-catching, with red intersecting structures. Vehicles cannot pass through, but people and bicycles can pass freely. There are lights at night, and Fengjia feels magnificent.
