We're excited to welcome Caryl Hart, who has written countless books for children, for a special Children's Writers Masterclass. During this one-off session, Caryl will provide an overview of Children’s Publishing including how it works and where to start, before providing advice on how to know if your story is ready to submit. There will also be time for some writing, to explore 'what good looks like' in children's stories, before we open up for Q&A. Caryl will bring books with her on the day and these will be for sale at the end of the session. About Caryl Caryl Hart is an award-winning children’s author who also runs creative literacy workshops for schools, libraries, communities and festivals. Her books have received numerous awards and acclaim including the Teach Early Years Award. Her best-selling Albie and Princesses Series have each sold over a quarter of a million copies and her books are published in over 30 languages all over the world. Caryl lives in Sheffield and loves walking in the hills and wild swimming.
