From a young age, Weixin has had a deep interest in arts and crafts. Since relocating to Swansea, she has been passionate about promoting Chinese culture more widely and meaningfully within the community. Weixin has worked as a community artist for several years, using her creative skills to engage and inspire others. After earning her Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PgCE), she began collaborating with various communities to support wellbeing and personal development through the arts. She is dedicated to sharing her skills and knowledge, and takes great joy in empowering others through creative expression. Outline During this workshop, you are going to create your own fragrant herb sachets, a tradition rooted in Chinese medicine and culture. Using luxurious fabrics and aromatic herbs, you’ll handcraft a unique piece believed to bring health, protection, and good fortune. No prior experience is needed and all materials will be included. High quality artist led workshops are at the heart of what we do here at Mission Gallery. Every ticket purchase contributes towards our Outreach Programme and supports fair compensation for our talented artists. Due to our venue’s capacity, spaces are limited. If you book onto one of our workshops we would ask you to honour your commitment to attend. We aim for our workshops to be as accessible as possible, but would ask that you make a donation on the day if you can. Gloucester Cathedral is an ancient and magnificent cathedral in the south of England. It became a pilgrimage place as early as 1300 years ago. It buried King Edward II of England. The Gothic architecture of this church is very beautiful. It is very spacious. There are many different uses of space. There are three floors to visit. Especially the corridor outside the church is very elegant. In 2002 and 2008, it was used as the location of the film &quot;Harry &amp; Potter&quot; twice, and it is worth visiting.
