Do you enjoy spending time with children? Are you looking for leadership experience, or to gain real working experience? This program is for you! We are looking for counsellors in training to help with our children's programs this summer. Our C.I.T program combines hands-on volunteering with a weekly session focused on leadership, real-world skills, and learning what it takes to run programs. You will get the chance to meet other C.I.T’s, do team building activities, and learn directly from the experienced staff. You can request to assist at any of our children's programs, and we’ll do our best to match you with your interests. At the end of the summer, you’ll receive a certificate of completion and a pizza party!
Ages: 13-16
Where: Bill Johnstone Memorial Park
When: Fridays 9:00-11:30am (with additional volunteer times)
