Colorado Springs Events in February, 2024

The Colorado Concealed Weapon Course is designed to provide individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to obtain their Colorado CCW permit. This comprehensive class focuses on firearm safety, the fundamentals of marksmanship, and understanding Colorado laws related to carrying a firearm. Participants will also learn how to select and maintain their firearm and holster, ensuring they are prepared for self-defense situations. The course includes both a written exam and a live-fire qualification to assess each student's competency in safely operating a handgun.

To participate in the course, students are required to bring eye and ear protection, as well as at least 150-200 rounds of ammunition. Additionally, students must have a safe and operable firearm, as well as a holster that they plan to conceal with. If students do not own a firearm, one can be rented from Pikes Peak Tactical for use during the class.

The classroom portion of the course will be held at Pikes Peak Tactical's training location, located at 6982 Los Reyes Circle, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. After completing the classroom portion, students will relocate to the Pikes Peak Gun Club for the live-fire completion.

By successfully completing the Colorado Concealed Weapon Course, participants will meet the state's Firearms Training requirements necessary to obtain a Conceal Handgun Permit. This course provides individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to confidently and safely carry and use a handgun for self-defense.
