I wish to see the Forbidden City covered in snow, to live up to the years and to cherish you. Once you enter the palace gates, it&#39;s like entering a deep sea; from then on, you&#39;re just a stranger. Push open a door, and you&#39;ll see two dynasties, three generations, and 600 years. Years have passed, all for the distant scenery. Stopping to look back, leaving behind a lifetime of tenderness, Chang&#39;an returns to its homeland. The red walls return to the pure land, and I return to you. In a daze, it seems as if I&#39;ve traveled through a thousand years, stunning the ages.

We took the elderly and children there over the weekend. We took the high-speed train, which was very convenient. The scenery on the north slope was beautiful; you can go up the Great Wall and come down via the side road. We got off at North 8th Road and didn&#39;t go any further towards the National Day holiday. The descent was quick, taking a total of three hours. Because it was close to the short holiday, there were many people, but it wasn&#39;t crowded.

The National Museum of China&#39;s exhibitions consist of three main series: permanent displays, special exhibitions, and temporary exhibitions.

It&#39;s very close to Beihai Park, so you can visit both. I recommend hiring a guided tour; it might be more enjoyable. Heshen&#39;s residence is indeed grand and luxurious, much of it a modified version of the Forbidden City, but it felt much more comfortable than the Forbidden City itself and is worth a visit.
