The Cosplay Grand Tour 2024 by Riot Games is a project dedicated to Italian cosplayers, with Napoli Comicon being the first stop. Organized by Riot Games, the contest welcomes cosplayers of all categories related to the world of Riot Games, including "Original" costumes inspired by Riot Games characters in an original key. Participants can showcase costumes purchased, commissioned, or self-made. Contestants can choose between a parade or exhibition mode of participation; for the parade, no audio track is required, while for the exhibition, a maximum 1.30-minute audio track for individuals and 2 minutes for couples/groups must be submitted online. Registration is free, and a waiver form will be provided at the event. The event will take place from 13:30 to 15:00 at the Music Dojo of Napoli Comicon on April 28, 2024. The judging criteria include character resemblance, costume craftsmanship, interpretation, makeup, originality, and attention to detail. Awards will be given for Best Interpretation, Best Armor/Prop, Best Tailoring, Community Award, and Best Overall Costume, with the overall winner earning a spot at Lucca Comics and Games 2024 finals with a Riot Games-sponsored cosplay. The event strictly prohibits certain items and behaviors to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants and attendees.
