Introducing the Creative Aging Studio's latest offering: the Caroling Chorus with Opera Memphis! This exciting opportunity is exclusively designed for singers aged 65 and above who have a passion for the holidays and singing. No prior experience in opera is required, making it accessible to all. Led by professionals from Opera Memphis, participants will embark on a nine-week journey to learn and master various classic holiday music selections. Hosted at Opera Memphis' brand-new headquarters, the group will convene every Tuesday from 1pm to 2pm, starting on October 17th. Please note that there will be no session on November 21st. The program will culminate in a special performance at a different location on December 19th, during the final session. This Studio Course, offered completely FREE of charge, is made possible through a partnership between Creative Aging and Opera Memphis. Generously supported by ArtsMemphis, the Tennessee Arts Commission, the H.W. Durham Foundation, and the Thomas W. Briggs Foundation, this chorus is set to provide a delightful and enriching experience for all participants.
