We have been awarded a very generous grant by Vermont Humanities to host a camp this summer. This free (!) four-day camp for those entering grades 6-9. The aim is for participants to explore different genres of creative expression through words and visuals, as well as hear from local professionals working in those fields. Each day will focus on a specific humanities area – journalism/photography, poetry, prose, and comics/graphic novels – with participants able to work independently and collaboratively to flex their creativity in these different formats. Lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided every day, and you will additionally receive books, writing supplies and more! Please only sign up if you can attend every day. Once you have registered, we will be in touch! We will then get your packs of books ready so that you can prepare to discuss and ask questions. Your registration will not be considered complete until you have completed the Permissions Slip. The Photo Release form is optional but we would to be able to show off all of the camp's activities!
