Dance for Dance for Social Change 2024 - 37th Anniversary is an annual community celebration and fundraising gala hosted by Mark DeGarmo Dance. This highly anticipated event aims to raise critical awareness and funds to support the organization's mission and programs. Mark DeGarmo Dance utilizes the power of dance to engage and empower students in New York City through captivating performances and educational initiatives. 

This year, the Dance for Dance for Social Change 2024 - 37th Anniversary event will take place in person on May 9th at the prestigious St. Mary's Church in New York City. Guests can look forward to an exciting lineup of activities, including a captivating presentation, a silent auction, a live shout-out auction, an invigorating dance lesson, and a few surprises to commemorate the 37th anniversary. 

Supporters have the unique opportunity to make a double impact by designating their donations to support the attendance of the students, families, teachers, and school community members served by Mark DeGarmo Dance. By contributing, donors and networks can help foster equality and dignity within our communities. 

To further support this worthy cause, individuals and organizations can choose from various sponsorship levels. Starting at $1,000, the Merengue ticket level supports two teachers' participation in the Professional Learning Program. For $500, the Hip Hop ticket level sends an entire classroom to view a professional online dance performance. Additionally, the Jive ticket level, priced at $250, provides over six dance and literacy lessons to a child. Lastly, the Salsa ticket level, priced at $100, funds more than two hours of dance and literacy lessons for a child. 

Mark DeGarmo Dance's Dance for Dance for Social Change 2024 - 37th Anniversary is not only a celebration of dance but also a commitment to social change. Central Park is very fun. There are large lawns and many squirrels running around. You can rent bicycles and ride horse-drawn carriages in the park. It is also nice to just walk around. There is a huge children&#39;s playground not far from Columbus circle. Children from all over the world who come to New York come here to play. They can play in the sand and water, and there are slides, swings, and rockeries. It is easy to play for half a day. There are also many people playing on the lawn. Many people there like to throw frisbees. Many families come here for vacation. It doesn&#39;t get dark until about 8:30 in the summer in the United States, so it&#39;s no problem to play in the park for a whole day!

Very good Bronx Zoo, one of the must-see places in New York. I really like the facilities and garden design here. It is beautiful and friendly to watch. We didn&#39;t see many animals because it was raining.

Great experience! Booking of tickets on Trip was easy-received QR codes for entrance into the museum received shortly. Skipped the queue to buy tickets at the museum. Get to go onboard the aircraft carrier and submarine for the first time! Interesting visit!

Bryant Park

Bryant Park is adjacent to the New York Public Library. It is named after the American naturalist poet William Cullen Bryant and is a public space covering one block.

In the middle of the park is a large square lawn; on the east side is a statue of Bryant, with his back against the New York Public Library, looking at the tourists in the park; on the west side of the lawn is a fountain; and around it are a circle of tables and chairs for tourists to relax and rest.

Perhaps because it is in a busy city and next to the library, there are quite a lot of tourists in the park, it is very lively and full of life.
