Runners and walkers will follow the scenic Mount Vernon trail, heading north towards Arlington and then returning to Lady Byrd Johnson Park. The DC Dash 5K is not only a fun and exhilarating experience, but it also supports a noble cause. Proceeds from this event will benefit Kids' Chance of Virginia (KCVA), an organization dedicated to providing post-secondary and trade school scholarships to the children of Virginia workers who have been severely or fatally injured in workplace accidents.
