It’s the fall of 2022, and comedian Rima Parikh has just been diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma, a blood cancer. Between freezing her eggs, taking leave from work, and chemo, she expects cancer to upend her life. But when her medical leave payments go amiss, she’s thrown into the deep web of healthcare bureaucracy. To get the money, she girlbosses along at first: circles back, follows up, etc. But as cancer treatment becomes more grating, being nice is no longer an option.			


Death Threat is a solo show about healthcare, illness, and bureaucratic systems—and what happens when they push us to the brink. Part stand up, part PowerPoint comedy, Death Threat is “tightly written and unexpected” and “like watching someone land 10 backflips in a row without touching the ground,” according to

.

Rima Parikh (@rimaparikh12) is a standup comedian and satirist whose work has appeared in The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, The Onion, ClickHole, NYMag, and more. She hosts a standup show called It Girls (@itgirlscomedy) and is senior writer at Going Down with Ella Yurman (@goingdowntv). Death Threat is her first solo show, which she’s working on as part of the 
Yes, And Laughter Lab’s
 2024 fellowship cohort.

Central Park is very fun. There are large lawns and many squirrels running around. You can rent bicycles and ride horse-drawn carriages in the park. It is also nice to just walk around. There is a huge children&#39;s playground not far from Columbus circle. Children from all over the world who come to New York come here to play. They can play in the sand and water, and there are slides, swings, and rockeries. It is easy to play for half a day. There are also many people playing on the lawn. Many people there like to throw frisbees. Many families come here for vacation. It doesn&#39;t get dark until about 8:30 in the summer in the United States, so it&#39;s no problem to play in the park for a whole day!

Great experience! Booking of tickets on Trip was easy-received QR codes for entrance into the museum received shortly. Skipped the queue to buy tickets at the museum. Get to go onboard the aircraft carrier and submarine for the first time! Interesting visit!

Bryant Park

Bryant Park is adjacent to the New York Public Library. It is named after the American naturalist poet William Cullen Bryant and is a public space covering one block.

In the middle of the park is a large square lawn; on the east side is a statue of Bryant, with his back against the New York Public Library, looking at the tourists in the park; on the west side of the lawn is a fountain; and around it are a circle of tables and chairs for tourists to relax and rest.

Perhaps because it is in a busy city and next to the library, there are quite a lot of tourists in the park, it is very lively and full of life.
