A 30 anni dalla morte del maestro Domenico Modugno, Centolanza assieme a Tazio Forte, ne presenta un personale omaggio. Per l’occasione verranno suonati brani dal suo repertorio, ma anche canzoni che hanno accompagnato il periodo in cui Modugno ha mosso i suoi primi passi e il periodo successivo alla sua morte, per capire l’enorme eredità che ci ha lasciato. Un mondo popolato da svariati musicisti, compositori, arrangiatori, parolieri, che trovavano in quegli anni una forma nuova di pensare e rappresentare la canzone, quella che a breve diventò famosa in ogni dove come “canzone d’autore”. Si, perchè Modugno oltre che essere un grande autore e un grande interprete è anche la bandiera di una Italia riconosciuta nel mondo e apprezzata per la sua capacità di rinnovare la musica, in modo particolare la canzone.

The surrounding area is very lively and suitable for taking photos and checking in, but it is a bit crowded with many tourists. The pigeons are not afraid of people, which adds a bit of fun. It is very convenient to go directly to the subway, but be careful of hawkers. The overall atmosphere is great, free and open, a must-see when you come to Milan!
